Pine Knob

I've been waiting to go snowboarding this whole year. When i heard that all the main mountains were opening I was so pumped. I begged my parents to let my brother and I go. When we arrived at Pine Knob, snow was still being made and you could so the groomers on the mountain still. We wanted to be the first ones down the newly groomed snow so we hurried and got everything on. While waiting in line for the chair, Julia and I were talking to two kids that were speaking Spanish. Jacob and my little brother Andy were the first ones up, Julia and I were a couple after them. It felt good going down those slopes. When i finally got the urge to try a 360 I chickened out and continued town the terrain park. While going up one of the times, Julia and I saw Andy racing down the hill so we yelled his name. When he turned and started to wave, he started to roll side ways. I thought that is was funny because he had gone that whole night with out falling and he whipped out on the last run. After our last run, I was sad because the night was over and time to go home.

This week off, my neighborhood is going to go on an annual winter trip. This year, my brother and I have suggested we go skiing/snowboarding. The "association" said it would be a good bonding activity. So This Friday from nine to ten at night we will be hitting the slopes at Alpine Valley. Woohoo! I can't wait!

Alpine might be opening this thursday!!!

I can't believe that we are already getting snow! It's only November! Sunday night Andy (little brother), Julia (neighbor), and I were just sitting there watching the snow come falling down from the sky. When reality set in we realized that we could be hitting the slopes very soon. Last year we really didn't snowboard as much as we could have due to the fact that none of us could drive. Now that our neighbor Julia can drive, she wants to take us snowboarding. I've been saving up all my money for the past couple of months so that when the snow comes rolling around I'll be able to snowboard as much as I want to. I've been thinking, if we are already getting snow won't this winter be a snowy one? When i asked my Dad he said that it hasn't snowed this early since i was a little girl and also he thinks it going to be a bad winter or there's going to be a lot of snow. Well i hope so cause other wise the season pass my brother and I bought will be worthless. This year I'm going to go out and buy a new snowboard because my other one is to small. This is unfortunate because i already used five hundred dollars on the season pass and now I'll haft to use five to six hundred more on a new board. If i get a new board I will probably give my old one to my little brother cause his is a little small too and why have him spend money on something i already have.

This Thursday on the Alpine Valley website they said that if conditions are right they will have it opened even with out the snow. To get more info go to:

15th birthday!

I'm so excited. Next week Wednesday is my birthday! This year I'll be fifteen years old and hopefully my parents will remember.... haha just kidding, but last year we were not home the whole day and they did not say happy birthday till ten o'clock at night. Last year was the best birthday ever. I got a new snowboard, hockey bag, and a stick. I know that it's not alot but they are pretty exspensive and i will beable to use them for a long time. This year I would like to get a new cell phone because over the summer i droped it in a pool. I would have bought myself a new one but i would rather have taken drivers ed and save up to get my lifeguarding thing.

In the past couple of years I have gotten some cool things for my birthday, but if i had to narrow it down to the best thing I've ever gotten, it would haft to be when chinchilla. He is the cuttest and softest animal on the planet! I got him for my tenth birthday. I have loved him ever since!

Livonia 16u hockey:review

This past weekend we all went out to collect cans and bottles for our tourny's (bottle drive). We raised over 700$ and still returning cans! On Thursday at Devonair we are haveing a scrimage against Redford. This will be our fourth scrimage this season. So far we have won all three of our games and hoping to keep this streak alive. Two out of the three games have been shut outs (no gaols scored against). Our captain, Nicole, has been both playing defense and forward! She has so far scored in every game. Last Thursday in our game against the Suburban Ice Breakers we had one injury. April took a slapshot to the inside of her foot. Ouchhhhh! In up coming news, this Thursday we face off against Redford in Livonia at Devonair from 9-10:30. Also we will have a tourny this weekend in Cleveland. Hopefully we can win and bring home the hardware. This will be our second time returning. Last year we made it to the semi finals and lost the London Ontario. So lets go Knights!!! Good luck this weekend!
